$1.5 Million to Build Homes in Hall County
Habitat for Humanity of Hall County has been awarded $1,500,000 through Georgia’s 2025 Community HOME Investment Program (CHIP) to build new single-family homes for very low- to low-income homebuyers — right here in Hall County.
About this project
One award, one job: more Hall County families in homes of their own
“We build strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter.”Habitat for Humanity of Hall County
The Community HOME Investment Program (CHIP) is run by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs and funded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s HOME Investment Partnerships Program. Communities across Georgia compete for CHIP funds to provide safe, decent, and affordable housing — and in the 2025 round, over $13.8 million went to fifteen communities statewide.
Hall County’s share is this $1,500,000 new-construction award. This page is its home: what the funding does, how the build will move, and how families, volunteers, and neighbors can be part of it.
